  • Children’s Bereavement Center : provides free grief support groups for children, young adults, and adult caregivers in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. Groups are open to anyone and available in both English and Spanish.

  • Dade Legal Services : provides legal services to low-income individuals, children, teens, women, and families in need of assistance. Legal service areas include: child & teen advocacy, domestic violence, family law, bankruptcy, consumer, guardianship, foreclosure, human sex trafficking, immigration, housing, and more. Dade Legal Aid Society serves Miami-Dade County.

  • Florida Partnership to End Domestic Violence : is a resource for Florida families. For immediate assistance, call the FL DV Hotline at 1-800-500-1119 or TDD 800-621-4202.

  • The Gender Affirming Letter Access Project (GALAP): a group of transgender, nonbinary, and allied mental health and medical providers based in the U.S. who have come together to provide pro bono assessments and letters to people who are seeking services solely for this purpose.

  • In The Rooms : a global recovery community to give recovering individuals a place to meet and socialize when they’re not in face-to-face meetings. Individuals are able to share their experience, strength, and hope.

  • National Alliance on Mental Illness : is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization offering education, advocacy, leadership, and help through the NAMI HelpLine at 1-800-950-6264 (NAMI) as well at the Crisis Text Line (Text NAMI to 741-741). They also offer peer-led and family support groups.

  • National Domestic Violence Hotline : has advocates who are available 24/7 in more than 200 languages. All calls are free and confidential. 1-800-799-7233 (SAFE). Advocates also offer the same secure support through live chat services.

  • National Sexual Assault Hotline: Call 1-800-656-4673 (HOPE) to be connected with a trained staff member from a sexual assault service provider in your area. See RAINN for additional resources.

  • National Suicide Prevention Lifeline : provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis for you or your loves ones, and best practices for professionals. 988.

  • Online Intergroup of AA : a directory that lists hundreds of meetings in many languages happening 24/7 from groups around the world. They also have list of online resources.

  • Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration : SAMHSA’s National Helpline is free, confidential, and a 24/7/365 treatment referral and information service in English and Spanish for individuals and families facing mental health and/or substance use disorders. 1-800-662-4357 (HELP).
